Location: Houma, LA
Schedule: Full-Time | Day & Night Shifts
Environment: Shipyard

Summary

Seeking experienced Tackers for full-time positions in a shipyard environment. Candidates must have previous tack welding experience, their own tools , and be able to pass a hands-on tacker test.

Must-Haves

  • Previous tack welding experience

  • Shipyard, marine, or fabrication experience

  • Must have own tools

  • Experience tack welding carbon/mild steel

  • Proficient with grinders and hand tools

  • Ability to read basic measurements

  • Must pass a hands-on tacker test

  • Reliable transportation and attendance

Preferred

  • Previous shipyard experience

  • Structural fabrication experience

  • Experience working with welders and shipfitters

  • Rigging or material handling experience
