This involves promoting sales, delivering excellent customer service, **nurturing** inventory levels, and **balancing** expenses through purchase **supporting**. Additionally, the Branch Manager **fosters** facility and staff **alignment** to safety and regulatory standards, **empowering** team members in providing efficient customer service, maintaining good housekeeping, and **harmonizing** overall operational efficiency.* Provide professional customer service for all internal and external customers and call-in product, pricing, and technical inquiries.* **Support** the outside sales team in **nurturing** existing client relationships and **welcoming** new business opportunities.* **Support the flow of** accurate and timely daily processing of financial transactions, including cash reports, charge tickets, coding, costing, pricing, daily cash summaries, and bank deposits.* **Maintain** the accuracy of back order, open order, and Purchase Order (PO) expedite reports.* **Cultivate and refine** appropriate cylinder and hard goods inventory levels for the branch.* **Facilitate and lead** training for inside sales associates on product knowledge, company policies, processes, procedures, and safety, **ensuring the confidence that** all associates can **perform** essential branch functions.* Conduct periodic performance reviews for branch associates.* Act as a **bridge** between employees and management, **providing performance mentorship** and guidance in collaboration with Human Resources and senior management.## \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_## ## Are you a MATCH?## **Required Qualifications:*** ## Previous **management experience** in a customer facing environment.* Background in supporting and leading teams within a **retail or industrial distribution environment.*** Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and occasionally up to 125 lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.* **Proficient** computer skills and an interest in learning new digital tools. **The ability to navigate** multiple priorities concurrently* **Self-motivate**d with a focus on contributing to the overall team's success.* **Excellent** verbal and written communication skills to effectively act as a bridge between staff and management.## **Preferred Qualifications:*** ## **A track record of meaningful contributions** in the welding, gas, or safety industry.* 3+ years of experience in a role focused on **nurturing team growth** and **operational efficiency**.* 5+ years’ experience in sales with a **track record of meaningful contributions**.* Experience with **inventory cultivation** and **vendor relationship** support.**Travel Requirements:*** Occasional travel (5 % of work time) may be required.**Communication and Critical Thinking Skills:*** **Strong** communication skills, both written and verbal, to interpret business documents and safety instructions.* **Ability** to solve practical problems and deal with limited standardization.\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_**Benefits**We care about and support our Airgas Families.
