Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $2,624 a week in all, a taxable rate of $37.70 an hour plus $1,267 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

Medical Surgical with Telemetry RN in a critical access hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to high-acuity patients in a 12-bed MedSx unit, with responsibilities including cardiac drips, respiratory support, and post-operative care for general surgery, orthopedics, and urology patients. The position requires the ability to stabilize acutely ill patients and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Job Details

• Position Description: Competent and experienced Telemetry RN for a critical access hospital. Must have relevant experience in telemetry, cardiac drips, and respiratory support (such as heated high-flow). Experience in post-op care of general surgery, orthopedics, and urology patients. Ability to care for high-acuity patients or float to high-acuity units.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLSD (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers).
• Schedule: Nights, variable nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week. Two weekend shifts every two-week period.
• Additional Information: The RN will work with a team of CNA's, RN, and critical care-trained house supervisor to support a 12-bed MedSx unit. Assigned patient load averages 4-5 with a maximum of 6. Must be able to quickly stabilize patients according to ACLS guidelines with interdisciplinary support. Responsibilities include titrating Cardizem drips and responding to high-acuity needs.
