Summary:

**Required Experience and Skills:** - Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience - Experience in a Level I Trauma Center PACU (Phase I) - Proficiency in Epic Charting System - Skills in Dysrhythmia recognition/management, Blood Product Administration, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, IV vasopressors, ICP monitoring, and Care of Ventilated patients **Preferred Experience:** - Previous Charge Experience **Certifications Required:** - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - CCRN* (Critical Care Registered Nurse) - Preferred - TNCC* (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - Preferred **Special Requirements:** - Confidence with critical care - Experience with managing patients with drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general anesthesia **License and Educational Requirements:** - Pending license accepted (subject to conditions) - MO or compact license required (IL license must be in hand at submission) **Additional Notes:** - Candidates must not be local (must live at least 75 miles away from the facility) - Candidates must pass a Relias EKG exam - Experience with surgical patient recovery from a variety of surgeries is required, except open heart surgeries and liver transplants - 2 years of PACU experience in a level 1 trauma is a hardstop requirement
