Job Title: Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) - Behavioral Health Location: 1400 NE 125 Street, North Miami, Fl. 33161 Phone: View phone number on click.appcast.io Position Type: Full-time / Part-time Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to join our behavioral health team. The ARNP will provide comprehensive mental health care, including evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and treatment planning for clients with mental health and substance use disorders. The ARNP will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, therapists, and case managers, to deliver high-quality care and support to individuals in our behavioral health programs. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments of clients to establish diagnoses and create individualized treatment plans. Prescribe and manage medications, monitoring clients' responses to treatments, and adjusting as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Provide psychotherapy and counseling support, either individually or as part of a treatment team. Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care. Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication management. Monitor clients' progress and make timely adjustments to treatment plans as necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of clinical services, following regulatory standards and agency protocols. Participate in staff meetings, case reviews, and interdisciplinary team discussions to ensure continuity of care. Stay informed of best practices and advances in behavioral health, attending training sessions as needed. Comply with all state, federal, and agency regulations related to mental health care and patient confidentiality. Qualifications: Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Active ARNP license in the state of Florida Certification in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP) preferred. Minimum of [1-2] years of experience in mental health, substance use, or related field. Knowledge of psychiatric medications and evidence-based treatment approaches for behavioral health. Strong communication, clinical, and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
