Inventory Supervisor

Inventory Supervisor (Direct Hire) Location: West Hartford Industry: Manufacturing Salary: $75,000 annually Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Inventory Supervisor to oversee inventory control operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, leading warehouse and cycle count activities, optimizing inventory processes, and supporting production operations to ensure material availability and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing industry experience, leadership skills, and a proven ability to improve inventory performance and warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily inventory operations, including receiving, storage, cycle counts, and material movement Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP/WMS systems Lead and coordinate cycle counting and annual physical inventory activities Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and root causes Collaborate with production, purchasing, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability Monitor inventory levels to minimize shortages and excess stock Develop and implement inventory control procedures and process improvements Train, coach, and supervise inventory and warehouse personnel Ensure compliance with company safety standards and operational procedures Generate inventory reports and KPIs for management review Qualifications 3+ years of inventory supervision experience in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and warehouse operations Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems Ability to analyze inventory data and identify process improvements Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred Preferred Qualifications Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience APICS or inventory management certification is a plus Forklift certification preferred Benefits Competitive salary ($75K) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match Career growth opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
