Family or Internal Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join a rural primary care practice in Colebrook, New Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive care to patients in a close-knit, underserved community while enjoying a balanced lifestyle and strong community connection.

Position Highlights

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care, including physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide preventive care, wellness visits, immunizations, and health screenings.
• Order and follow up on diagnostic testing and communicate results to patients.
• Prescribe and manage medications and treatment plans.
• Coordinate referrals and care with specialists and other healthcare providers.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, nutrition, lifestyle changes, and healthy living.
• Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Completion of an approved residency program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Comfortable maintaining an independent patient panel
