Technical Program Director

Leading the technical implementation of complex strategic initiatives, the full-time Technical Program Director will manage cross-functional programs, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget adherence while facilitating communication among engineering, product, and business teams in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Establish and maintain program baselines for scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring clear status communication across teams Proactively identify and resolve risks and blockers, escalating issues as necessary to maintain project timelines Oversee program spend and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and managing vendor relationships where applicable Required qualifications 5+ years of experience leading complex, technical, cross-functional programs, particularly in software delivery or automation initiatives PMP certification or equivalent program management experience Proficiency in both structured and Agile delivery models, with the ability to apply the appropriate methodology Experience using program/PPM tools such as Jira, Confluence, or MS Project Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, tailoring messages for different audiences
