Build Your Future. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Position Overview We are looking for a Market Personal Training Manager that supports a high-performance, high-care culture that operates with speed and urgency in delivering outcomes through member experience, service, and results. They create a warm, kind, and hospitable club, allowing everyone to achieve their goals in a “no judgments” environment. The MPTM position is a key member of our leadership team reporting to the RVP of Personal Training and is responsible for assisting the Market Partners, Managing Partners and PT Managers with daily club operations and delivering “WOW” service for team members and members alike! The MPTM is looked at as a Subject Matter Expert in everything Personal Training and will be leveraged to help grow and develop our current leaders and next level leaders. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ What You’ll Do: As a Market Personal Training Manager at Crunch, you hire, train, and manage PTM performance while coaching club leaders on client engagement, acquisition, and retention. You conduct 1:1s with Market Partners, MPs, and PTMs to review performance, motivate goal achievement, and master CrunchOne Kickoffs for member conversions. You ensure accurate PT administration (dotFIT, goal tracking, audits), maintain staffing/certifications, respond to members within 24 hours, and report KPIs/action plans to leadership. You drive excellence through weekly club visits, continuing education, resource alignment, and clear communication/feedback loops to hit revenue targets . ___________________________________________________________________________________________ What Success Looks Like: PT teams fully staffed/certified, hired/trained/managed effectively; PTMs coached via 1:1s with Market/MPs. The PT teams in the market have CrunchOne Kickoff mastered—converting members to PT services through demos, coaching on engagement/prescription, with accurate dotFIT/supplement/goal tracking and progress reports. Market KPIs achieved via precise data/reports, resource alignment, weekly club visits/audits, continuing education, and clear reporting to Exec Leadership and RVP Market staffing is optimized for labor control, and effective communication/feedback loops driving performance and motivation. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ About You: You motivate and organize teams to perform at a high level, regardless of formal authority, by providing clear direction, maintaining alignment to plans, and reinforcing accountability for outcomes. Supporting and developing team members remains a consistent priority. You make timely, practical decisions and consistently meet established standards while encouraging others to exceed them; demonstrating the stamina and focus required to manage long-term challenges effectively. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Responsibilities: Consults and assists in hiring, training, and performance management of a team of qualified Personal Training Managers and Assistant Personal Training Managers Meet both new client acquisition and existing client retention targets for the club and market Coach and guide Club Leaders on how to engage, prescribe, acquire, and retain clients Conduct 1:1 meetings with Market Partners, Managing Partners and PTMs to review performance, motivate, inspire, and guide to achieving individual and company goals Demonstrates the ability to communicate clearly across all levels of leadership while closing feedback loops to ensure issues are addressed and resolved. Manage the CrunchOne Kickoff process through demonstrating, coaching, and guiding PT Team members on how to engage with members with the goal of converting the members to personal training services Ensure accurate administration of PT services including, but not limited to, usage of dotFIT program and supplements, goal tracking, measurement tracking, program design and tracking, and progress reports Maintain accurate reports and data for clarity into performance of the business Manage, align, direct resources informed by department KPIs & organizational priorities Provide excellent customer service by responding to all member inquiries within 24 hours Report to Executive Leadership, RVP of Operations and RVP of PT on key results and action plans Ensure Club level PT staffing maintains appropriate levels to service our customers and business needs Maintain accurate and up-to-date certification/CPR records of all personal training staff Responsible for conducting weekly club visits, completing club audits and reporting results to all stakeholders Responsible for conducting and leading continuing education courses as assigned ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Required Qualifications: 1-2 years experience as a personal training manager required Prior management experience leading 15+ employees required Demonstrates integrity and judgment, confidence, humility and kindness Previous multi-unit management is preferred but not required Basic understanding of fitness industry, market and key business drivers Understanding of labor control, optional staffing levels and controls over time CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire) Certification required in one or more approved Nationally Accredited Certifications: American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer Health Fitness Specialist American Council on Exercise (ACE) Personal Trainer Certification The Cooper Institute Personal Trainer Certification International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA) Personal Fitness Trainer Certification National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association (NESTA) Personal Fitness Trainer Certification National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT) National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) International Sports Sciences Association (with NCCA accreditation) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Physical Requirements Must be able to lift or move 50 lbs Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Travel: Up to 75% travel required ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Paid Holidays Subsidized health insurance coverage (health, dental, vision) for full time positions Employer Paid Basic Life and AD&D HSA Short-term disability Voluntary Supplemental Life Insurance for employee, child, and spouse Free gym membership ___________________________________________________________________________________________ EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER UDT is an Equal Opportunity Employer, a drug-free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable.
