Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients at 22 weeks gestation and greater, including premature infants and those with BPD and nutritional risk
• Manage and monitor patients on conventional ventilators, oscillators, bubble CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and nasal cannula
• Support ROP exam processes and coordinate care for complex neonatal conditions
• Float to Family Maternity Center and Postpartum units (newborn care only) as needed
• Document all patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Participate in weekend shifts as scheduled, including 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington RN license or valid Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience
• Current BLS (BCLS) certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with oscillatory ventilation and bubble CPAP management in neonatal populations
• Familiarity with Level II NICU care within a women's and children's specialty facility
• Experience floating to postpartum or maternity units
