Production Supervisor

The RoleLead protein processing, warehouse operations, and distribution at our Baltimore facility. Supervise production team, optimize yields, manage inventory controls, and ensure quality from receiving through delivery.What You'll DoProduction ManagementSupervise cutting, fabrication, and packaging of beef, pork, and specialty proteinsMaximize yield percentages and minimize waste across all productsMonitor quality standards, trimming specs, and portion accuracyTrack by-products (bones, trim, fat) for revenue optimizationManage production schedules for on-time fulfillmentWarehouse & DistributionOversee receiving, inspection, and cold storage of raw materialsCoordinate order picking, staging, and loading dock operationsEnforce FIFO rotation and maintain organized warehouse zonesConduct cycle counts and reconcile inventoryVerify order accuracy and coordinate driver departuresSystems & AccountabilityLearn and operate ERP systems for production and inventory trackingMaintain records in Excel/Google Sheets for yields, waste, and outputSupport barcode scanning for receiving, production, and shippingGenerate daily reports on metrics, inventory, and fulfillmentDocument lot codes, temperature logs, and compliance recordsTeam LeadershipSupervise 10-15 staff across production, warehouse, and distributionCommunicate in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)Conduct performance reviews and skills trainingAssign tasks and cross-train for flexibilityCompliance & QualityImplement HACCP protocols and maintain USDA complianceMonitor temperature controls and cold chain managementEnsure sanitation and safety standardsResolve quality and delivery issues immediatelyOther duties as assignedWhat You NeedExperience3-5 years in protein processing/meat fabrication2+ years supervisory experience in production/distributionExpertise in beef/pork processing and custom fabricationWarehouse operations and cold storage experienceSkills & KnowledgeUnderstanding of yield calculation and waste managementFamiliarity with catch-weight inventory systemsFIFO rotation, lot tracking, and inventory controlsOrder fulfillment and logistics coordinationBasic Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Excel, Word, Email)Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferredCertificationsUSDA regulations knowledgeHACCP or food safety certificationUnderstanding of OSHA warehouse safetyPhysical RequirementsLift 50+ lbs regularlyWork in cold environments (34-40°F)Early morning starts (4:00-5:00 AM typical)Stand for extended periodsWhy Join UsCompetitive salary based on experienceGrowing company with technology investmentsDirect impact on operations and customer satisfactionProfessional development opportunitiesStable Baltimore market leaderTo Apply: Submit resume detailing protein processing, warehouse, and supervisory experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Julius-Silvert,-Inc.-1
