As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Welcome Desk in Atlanta, GA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.06 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control duties, and front desk protocols at a financial services location.
• Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, manage sign-in processes, and report unusual or suspicious activity in a calm, professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations with a problem-solving approach, following post orders and emergency response procedures as appropriate.
• Answer phones, assist with directions, coordinate with building contacts, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or visitor information in required logs and systems.
• Support a professional front desk presence by helping to deter unauthorized access, maintaining awareness of entry points, and communicating security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Provide a DD214 with Honorable Discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a Police Academy Certificate, and/or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
