The position requires a day shift of 10 hours. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in PACU. A valid state nursing license is required. Candidates must have current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. This role requires mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placement as essential skills. Two weekend call shifts per month are required when 4 shifts total are requested, which includes 2 weekend and 2 weeknight shifts. The RN will work with patients of various age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The nursing staff will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care. Candidates should have experience with phase I and phase II recovery, general, orthopedic, and endoscopic procedures.
