Together, we're improving health and improving lives. Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist float to join our team in Raleigh, NC. Work Schedule: This is a Per Diem/Casual position and hours will be as needed on Friday, Saturdays and Sunday based upon business needs, not to exceed 19 hours per week Job Responsibilities: * Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups * Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. * Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner * Process billing information and collect payments when required * Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis * Maintain patient and specimen information logs * Provide superior customer service to all patients * Administrative and clerical duties as necessary * Travel to additional sites when needed * Other Duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Phlebotomy certification or completed Phlebotomy training program or 6 months' or more experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications: * 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards: * In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency * Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service * Strong communication skills; both written and verbal * Ability to work independently or in a team environment * Comfortable working under minimal supervision * Flexibility to work overtime as needed * Able to pass a standardized color blindness test * Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportation * Must be 21 years' old At Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
