Mechatronics Maintenance Tech II - Weekend Shift - Clayton, IN

Overview At GXO we are looking for a skilled Mechatronics Maintenance Technician II to support supply chain operations. The role focuses on maintaining advanced manufacturing equipment and ensuring reliable performance in a safe environment. Shift Weekend Shift: Saturday – Monday, 6:00 am – 6:30 pm. What you’ll do on a typical day Perform continuous operational checks of equipment and preventive maintenance. Repair and replace defective electrical and mechanical parts on equipment. Work at heights of up to 125 feet when required, including climbing ladders and operating in confined spaces. Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling equipment of various weights. Operate hand tools, use safety gear such as gloves, earmuffs, and helmets. Work safely around electromagnetic fields produced by production equipment. What you need to succeed at GXO At a minimum, you’ll need: Minimum of 1 year of experience maintaining industrial electronic and electrical systems, including related coursework in industrial electronics, robotics or mechatronics. Ability to work at heights up to 125 feet above ground level and pass fall protection training. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including planned and unplanned overtime and weekends. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Knowledge of engineering science and technology and of design techniques and tools. Proficiency with computers and electronics. Knowledge of production processing. It would be great if you also have Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment. Warehousing or third‑party logistics (3PL) experience.
