Merakey is seeking a Behavior Technician to join their team in Baton Rouge, LA, offering an hourly wage of $17.00.

Candidates should have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, with preferred experience of 3-6 months in behavioral health services.

The position requires availability Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities include providing one-on-one support to clients, implementing treatment plans, and assisting with daily activities.

Using evidence-based treatments (such as Applied Behavior Analysis – ABA) to provide 1:1 direct service in family homes, schools, and community settings. Complete timely ongoing data collection, including parent/staff correspondence and all required documentation. Provide behavioral interventions and physical interventions as needed. Accompany and assist clients(s)/student(s) with activities and daily living which may include assisting with toileting and grooming. Other duties as assigned.
