This home daily position offers consistent local routes hauling clothing and home goods using a tractor-trailer. Drivers average 4 stops per day and enjoy a no-touch freight environment with drop-and-hook operations, allowing for efficient deliveries and minimal physical labor. Job Duties Operate a tractor-trailer on local delivery routes Transport clothing and home goods safely and efficiently Complete drop-and-hook pickups and deliveries Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate delivery and transportation records Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures Driving Requirements Valid CDL-A license DOT Medical Card FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years) No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years) No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years) Clearinghouse registration and compliance required within 30 days Tractor-trailer driving experience preferred Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) plan and more Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Holiday Pay is provided for eligible Drivers Weekly Pay Staffmark Perkspot – discounts on almost anything you want to buy What You Will Do As a Local CDL A Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service. The Local CDL A Driver is responsible for operating vehicles safely while transporting products and materials according to established schedules and delivery requirements. This position requires sound judgment, strong driving skills, and a commitment to protecting people, cargo, and equipment.
