Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Area Patrol in Goldsboro, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response protocols at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and movement throughout the location while following post orders, use-of-force guidelines, and applicable laws and/or regulations.
• Support incident command and first-response activities during emergencies, alarms, medical events, and/or operational disruptions while maintaining professional communication with site leadership and public agencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
