Job Title Consultant - Manager, Legal Counsel Employment Compliance Location Miami, FL | Dallas, TX | Remote Position Type Full time, Contract – Minimum 6 months with possible extension. Summary This role is integral to ensuring that Amadeus remains compliant with employment-related legal standards while supporting our strategic business goals. Responsibilities Ensure necessary outcomes are achieved, including timely preparation and certification of the affirmative action plan, EEO‑1 reporting, veterans and pay data reporting, and all mandated state reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with law and draft and negotiate employment‑related agreements. Stay current with changes in employment laws and regulations throughout the Americas and ensure compliance. Conduct legal research and analysis on complex employment‑law issues and provide recommendations. Draft, review, and negotiate employment and benefit‑related agreements, including executive employment agreements and severance agreements. Draft updates to employment handbooks in the US and Canada, and collaborate on updating handbooks throughout LATAM. Manage employment‑related litigation and administrative proceedings. Represent the company in employment‑related litigation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings throughout the Americas. Supervise outside labor and employment counsel throughout the Americas. Manage the discovery process. Manage responses to inquiries by state, federal, and local administrative agencies across the Americas. Manage and coordinate the company’s response to inquiries and investigations by the Department of Labor, EEOC, or other state or federal agencies across the Americas. Review and respond to claims and demand letters, primarily employee or commercial real‑estate related. Ideal Candidate Independent consultant engagement – must operate through an established business entity (e.g., LLC, corporation) and provide valid business registration documentation. JD from an accredited law school in the United States required. Minimum 3–5 years’ experience providing expert legal advice and support on a wide range of employment‑law matters. Experience with commercial real‑estate law is a plus. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations throughout the Americas. Previous experience performing legal research using critical thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail. Ability to assess risks associated with business activities and advise a company on managing those risks. Advanced communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and build consensus with a variety of stakeholders. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and AI functional competencies. Ability to travel 10% of the time. The position can be located in Miami or Dallas or Remote.
