Finishing Operator

Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator to join our team at our Fresno, CA facility. In this role, you will operate die‑cutting and finishing equipment and maintain precision equipment in a fast‑paced production environment. Your mechanical skills, attention to detail, and teamwork directly impact product quality. Responsibilities Prepare and operate printing press equipment in accordance with job specifications and company quality standards and procedures. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output. Prepare inks to achieve proper color and consistency. Check paper for type, size, color, and quantity. Check plates for correct format. Visually inspect forms throughout the run for quality. Coordinate with the Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates. Maintain knowledge of safety requirements for the job and equipment. Shift 11:00pm – 7:00am, Monday – Friday Required Qualifications Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances. High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail. High degree of mechanical ability. Good reading ability. Other Requirements Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand. Regularly required to remain in a stationary position. Constantly operate machinery and handle products including print materials. Frequently required to move inside the facility. Regularly move up to 25pounds (lift, push, pull, and/or carry). Preferred Qualifications Ability to work with very close tolerances. Effective communication with team members. High degree of analytical skills. Good color discernment. Salary The anticipated hourly range for this position is $21 – $25. The actual base offered depends on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
