Assistant Hotel General Manager

Responsibilities Support the general manager in the daily operation of the hotel to ensure that all guest service standards are met Ensure that all local, state, and federal rules and regulations, as well as any corporate or brand-established policies and practices, are followed Propose adjustments that will increase hotel profitability by assessing department performance and identifying issue areas Compose an annual budget in coordination with department heads and the general manager, and perform audits throughout the year to ensure profitability Empower the human resources department to increase efforts for turnover management, employee motivation, and employee growth and retention by providing support Qualifications Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience You must have a high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, or a related field Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills 3+ years of experience working in a hotel or the hospitality industry required Previous experience managing a team is required; preferably in a hospitality role such as department manager Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly #J-18808-Ljbffr LaQuinta Inn and Suites Unversity Parkway Orem Ut
