Travel Physical Therapist – Dahlonega, GA Duration: 13 weeks | Shift: 8 hours per day | Employment Type: Travel | Pay: 8 hour shifts, 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) Key Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute care plans for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill and document in accordance with facility guidelines and state/insurance requirements. Ensure compliance with the respective PT board’s rules and regulations in the state. Collaborate with medical center personnel and physicians to create a coordinated plan of care. Understand and select adaptive equipment appropriate for patient needs. Modify care plans as patient conditions change. Use medical center computer systems for daily documentation. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of PT experience; 1 year required for most candidates, 6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates. BLS certification. State licensure for physical therapy. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. New graduates encouraged to apply.
