Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to an elder population, including those with dementia and schizophrenia managed by medication.
• Collaborate with medical aides during specified hours to ensure optimal patient care.
• Manage skilled charting, including COVID charting, primarily during day shifts using Point Click Care (PCC) system.
• Participate in a behavioral program catering to psychiatric needs of a handful of residents.
• Adhere to a 12-hour block schedule, including alternating weekends and holidays.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse

• Valid RN License
• BLS Certification
• BSN Degree Required
• Experience in geriatric or psychiatric care preferred
