Job Overview Position: Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) II Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts (Onsite, U.S. Citizen required) Security Clearance: Secret, active U.S. government‑issued clearance required. Responsibilities Compliance oversight, assessment, and operations of assigned systems. Mentoring ISSO teams and providing technical guidance. Conduct recurring cybersecurity reviews per DoD, NIST, and company policies. Serving as SME on cybersecurity topics. Representing the organization to external counterparts. Providing training to ISSOs across the organization. Reviewing and approving configuration management requests. Integrating new cybersecurity processes and tools. Supporting documentation creation and updates. Overseeing implementation of policies and procedures. Intermittent travel to other Raytheon locations (10‑20%). Qualifications University degree (or equivalent) plus minimum 8 years relevant experience OR advanced degree plus 5 years experience. IAM Level I certification (Security+ or equivalent). Experience in cybersecurity, system security/hardening, or IT compliance‑based auditing: RMF, DCSA, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM, or non‑defense standards (FAA, PCI, ISO 9001, HIPAA). Knowledge of operating systems, databases, network hardware, software, and electronics. Physical security, investigations, or border patrol background (preferred). Project or program management, office management, senior administration, account management experience (preferred). Preferred Experience Experience in DoD classified environments. Use of vulnerability analysis and mitigation tools – Splunk, Forcepoint, Ivanti, Tenable, ACAS, HBSS, etc. Implementation of NIST, CNSSI, DoD, or other regulatory directives. Execution of RMF Assessment & Authorization processes. Technical security consultation for complex, cross‑domain classified networks. Large multi‑facility Windows/Linux network experience. Implementation of DISA STIGs and cyber incident response. Benefits & Compensation Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD.
