Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Our manufacturing client is seeking an EHS Specialist to help drive a strong safety culture within their growing manufacturing site. Under the guidance of an EHS Manager, this hands-on role works closely with employees, supervisors, and leadership to maintain a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace. If you feel this role would be a good fit, I hope to hear from you soon! **1st shift (Monday-Friday)/some flexibility for occasional OT **This a full time/permanent role **Salary Range: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour + OT **Extensive benefits are offered, including and not limited to, medical, dental, vision and 401k Key Responsibilities: Maintain a strong presence on the production floor Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments Ensure compliance with PPE, LOTO, contractor safety, and environmental requirements Investigate incidents and support corrective actions Deliver safety training and employee engagement initiatives Support waste management, emergency response, and continuous improvement efforts Qualifications: BS or BA degree within industrial safety, occupational safety or related field. No experience required with an applicable degree. >>>2+ years of overall manufacturing or industrial experience without a degree Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Must be flexible throughout the year for paid overtime on projects/training
