Wausau, WI | $36-$51/hour | Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts | Days & Nights The Staff Pad is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for a high-acuity Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) at a respected regional hospital in Wausau, WI. - Assess, prioritize, and respond to evolving patient needs
- Care for patients with complex medical, neurological, trauma, and post-surgical conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, therapists, and other members of the care team
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Develop and strengthen advanced assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Educate patients and families throughout the care process
- Current RN license in Wisconsin or eligibility through a compact license
- BLS certification
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills
- New graduate RNs are welcome to apply
- Experienced RNs with med-surg, telemetry, step-down, progressive care, IMCU, ICU, critical care, or similar experience are encouraged to apply
