Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical

RN- Med/Surg- Rockford, IL
Contract Type: Travel Assignment
Schedule: Night Shift

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of recent Medical Surgical/Orthopedic nursing experience .
• Experience caring for medical and post-operative orthopedic patients.
• Current AHA BLS Certification required.
• AHA ACLS Certification preferred.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical and orthopedic surgical patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on recovery, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

Pay Package(36hrs/week)

• Total Non-taxable Pay (weekly): $1246
• Total Taxable Pay (weekly): $1,008
• Gross Total Pay (weekly): $2,254
