Role Description This part-time, on-site Caregiver role is based in Pulaski, TN and focuses on providing compassionate, non-medical support to senior clients in their homes or residential settings. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and light housekeeping. The Caregiver helps with meal preparation, basic nutrition support, errands, and non-emergency transportation to appointments or community activities. The role also involves offering companionship, monitoring client well-being, reporting changes in condition to care management staff, and following individualized care plans. Caregivers are expected to maintain clear documentation, uphold safety and infection control procedures, and communicate respectfully with clients, families, and team members. Qualifications Ability to provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility support). Experience with household support tasks, including light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and basic nutrition guidance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building trust, offering companionship, and collaborating with clients, families, and care teams. Reliability in following care plans, documenting services provided, and reporting changes in client condition to supervisors. Commitment to safety, including adherence to infection control practices, fall prevention, and proper use of equipment or assistive devices. Ability to provide or assist with non-emergency transportation and support safe transitions between home, appointments, and other settings. Demonstrated empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity when working with diverse senior populations, including veterans. High school diploma or equivalent; prior caregiving, home care, or healthcare-related experience is preferred. Willingness to participate in ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development programs offered by Senior Solutions.
