Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Louisiana Childrens Medical Center Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - Louisiana Childrens Medical Center Health System.

Additional Details:

You must be willing to float, work weekends, and generally just be very flexible.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Experience required: stents, ablations, paracentesis, peripherals, upper and lower extremities, Abd and Pelvic, vascular studies, venous access, and hemo dynamic monitoring. - Required equipment experience: Philips single. - EKG setting and experience required: inpatient, outpatient, pacemakers, obtaining vitals.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - 3 years of experience preferred. - IR experience preferred. - Rhythm interpretation preferred. - Cath lab procedures preferred: IV start, coil embolization. - Preferred equipment experience: Siemens, bi-plane. - Teaching hospital experience is preferred. - Community hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Modalities covered: invasive cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular. - Daily caseload: 20-25/day.

Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend requirement: once every fifth week. - Call required: 5-8 shifts depending on staffing. - Holiday requirement: Yes.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
