Job SummaryWe are seeking a Sr FP&A Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for a strategic finance leader who enjoys building financial models, partnering with executives, and turning data into actionable business insights.The Sr FP&A Manager will play a key role in annual planning, forecasting, long-range financial modeling, KPI reporting, pricing analysis, and strategic decision support. This is a highly visible opportunity within a fast-paced, high-growth environment where Finance is a true business partner to leadership.This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, influence business strategy, support new product and market initiatives, and contribute to process improvements across FP&A systems and reporting. The environment is collaborative, analytical, and well suited for a finance professional who values strong leadership exposure, teamwork, and meaningful impact.Key Responsibilities- Lead annual budgeting, monthly and quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning across departments.- Build and maintain complex financial models, scenario analyses, and strategic projections to support executive decision-making.- Perform monthly variance analysis, evaluate business performance, and present clear financial insights to leadership.- Partner with department leaders to align budgets, operational plans, KPIs, and strategic initiatives.- Develop management reporting, board-level presentations, dashboards, and KPI reporting using financial and operational data.- Support strategic initiatives including product launches, market expansion, pricing strategy, margin analysis, M&A, and investment analysis.Compensation and Benefits- Salary range: $150,000 to $160,000 per year.- Job type: Direct hire.- Location: Los Angeles, CA.Required Qualifications and Skills- Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modeling initiatives.- Provide executive-level reporting, variance analysis, KPI dashboards, and business performance insights.- Partner with cross-functional leaders on pricing, margin analysis, product cost modeling, and strategic initiatives.- 7 to 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or a related finance function.- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.- Advanced Excel skills required, including complex financial modeling and scenario analysis.- Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to prepare executive and board-level presentations.- Experience with ERP systems.- Experience developing KPI reporting, management dashboards, and financial insights for leadership.- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, corporate finance, and strategic planning.- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.- Collaborative finance business partner with the ability to work effectively across departments in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications- MBA preferred.- Experience in technology, medical device, med-tech, or manufacturing environments strongly preferred.- Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tool experience preferred.- Experience with product cost modeling, pricing strategy, and margin analysis preferred.- Background as a Senior FP&A Manager, Finance Manager, Corporate Finance Manager, Strategic Finance Manager, FP&A Lead, Investment Banking Associate or VP, or Finance Business Partner preferred.Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected VeteransThe Know Your Rights poster is available here:The pay transparency policy is available here:For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.We are committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
