Pre-Op/PACU RN

We are a busy, multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in Largo, FL looking for a full-time Pre-Op/PACU RN to join our team. Duties: Perform an appropriate pre- or post-operative assessment on patients based on their procedure per physician orders and center guidelines. Provide safe, individualized nursing care for each patient during their stay. Administer medications and perform documentation in accordance with physician orders and clinical policies. Participate in staff meetings, Quality Improvement, and Safety Initiatives as necessary. Requirements: RN license in the state of Florida. Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse in a hospital or outpatient setting. BLS and ACLS certification. Pre-Op/PACU experience preferred. Skills: Ability to collaborate and work as a team with staff, physicians, and other allied health professionals. Strong clinical skills including experience with IVs. Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and family members. #J-18808-Ljbffr
