THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

• Reports to the Plant Manager and Director of Human Resources
• No Direct Reports.
• Lead workplace safety and environmental efforts by proactively identifying risks across operations and implementing practical solutions that protect employees and maintain compliance.
• Design and deliver training programs that build a culture of safety, ensuring teams are prepared for daily operations as well as emergency situations.
• Establish and continuously improve safety policies, inspection routines, and procedures to support consistent, company-wide standards.
• Monitor and reinforce compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines, maintaining accurate documentation, reporting, and audit readiness.
• Partner with leadership and frontline teams to address incidents, manage workers’ compensation processes, and support safe return-to-work initiatives.
• Oversee safety systems and resources—including PPE, hazard communication, and committee engagement—to drive accountability and ongoing improvement.
