Assignment Details
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekly Contract Weeks: 13
Requirements
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Chemotherapy
- Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year in outpatient infusion
- Patient Age Group: Adult, Geriatric
- Technology: EPIC, Omnicell, Ascom, glucometer
- Common Equipment: Alaris pumps, elastomeric pumps
- Floating requirements, blood product administration
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusions as prescribed
- Monitor and assess patient responses to treatments
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments and procedures
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in EMR
