HVAC Construction Start-Up Foremen - Union-Scale Wages - Rocky Hill, CT Tucker Mechanical is seeking experienced HVAC Construction Start-Up Foremen to join their team in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. This role involves coordinating and performing start-up, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and clients. Perks & Benefits Union-scale wages Robust benefits package including family healthcare and retirement at no cost to the employee Paid travel to job sites within the servicing territory Competitive salary and benefits package What You’ll Need High School Diploma Completed Vocational or Trade School Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Excellent attitude towards safety and adherence to safety protocols Ability to perform physical labor at heights and in varying weather conditions Comfortable using hand and power tools Ability to read, understand and follow work order assignments/directives Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Commercial Service Technician CT S2 License Professionalism and strong communication skills Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of HVAC and Boiler systems Ability to troubleshoot and repair boilers, roof top units, split systems, VRF systems, fan coils, air handlers, controls, VAV’s, etc. Understanding of electrical and refrigeration theoryProficient in reading wiring schematics, drawings and work plans Ability to work after hours and weekends in high-peak seasons Self-driven, disciplined, and motivated Excellent organizational skills Experience with Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam and ACC Ability to communicate effectively in English Ability to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds #J-18808-Ljbffr Energy Job Shop
