Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current certification as a COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant)
• Previous experience working in school settings preferred
• Valid state license and COTA renewal completed
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to adapt and be flexible within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students according to individualized plans under the supervision of a licensed OT
• Support the implementation of student IEPs through creative and engaging interventions in classrooms
• Participate in team meetings, providing input and progress updates as needed
• Document and report student progress efficiently and accurately
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
• Assist with adaptation and modification of classroom materials and environments
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating atmosphere for students at all times
