Warehouse CustodianReporting to the Warehouse Manager, ensures the building is kept clean and orderly according to the cleaning protocol. Follows and maintains a safe, and clean work environment. Performs cleaning duties such as sanitizing floors and removing trash.Responsibilities• Perform and document cleaning and inspection activities according to the master cleaning schedule.• Ability to work from heights.• Follows Custodian Daily Checklist to ensure the facility is kept clean and neat.• Clean and dust surface areas where needed.• Prepare cleaning solutions according to written instructions provided.• Understand and abide by SDS procedures to prevent injuries and damage to floors and fixtures.• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.• Upon completion and certification of training, the Custodian will operate power equipment (i.e., sit-down floor scrubber, pallet jack, forklift, etc.).• Stock and maintain janitorial supply room and storage areas.
