Travel Radiation Therapist – Richmond, Virginia MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a Travel Radiation Therapist to work at a client site in Richmond, Virginia. Position Details Specialty: Radiation Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Requirements Licensure required in most states. Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy. Current CPR Certification. At least eighteen months of Radiation Therapy experience, preferably in a critical care setting. Duties & Responsibilities Deliver therapeutic doses of radiation for cancer treatment. Discuss treatment plans with patients in partnership with clinical oncologists and physicians. Determine correct radiation dosage and treatment area. Explain potential side effects and management strategies to patients. Safely administer radiotherapy treatments. Operate radiotherapy equipment. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and professional guidelines. Provide quality, cost‑effective patient care professionally. Maintain an environment focused on patient care and timely service. Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients. Keep accurate records of patient treatment regimens.
