Machine Operator-Coffee Grinder Machine-Direct Hire

As a Machine Operator, you will operate and monitor coffee grinding and bag sealing equipment in a food production environment, ensuring consistent product quality and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. You will perform machine set ups and changeovers when switching between different coffee products, and support efficient, continuous production on the manufacturing line.

Responsibilities

• Operate coffee grinding machines and bag sealing equipment safely and efficiently to meet production targets.
• Set up machines at the start of each run, including calibrating settings and preparing materials for different coffee products.
• Perform changeovers when switching between products, adjusting machine parameters and components as needed.
• Monitor machines during operation to ensure consistent grind quality, proper seals, and adherence to production specifications.
• Inspect products for quality, including checking packaging integrity and appearance, and take corrective action when necessary.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures while operating and maintaining equipment.
• Keep work areas, machines, and surrounding equipment clean and organized in accordance with sanitation guidelines.
• Identify basic mechanical issues or irregularities with machines and escalate or assist with troubleshooting as appropriate.
• Complete required production and equipment documentation accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with other production team members to maintain smooth workflow and minimize downtime.

Essential Skills

• At least 3 years of machine operating experience in a food and beverage production environment.
• Proficiency in operating production machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices in a food manufacturing facility.
• Ability to perform machine set ups and changeovers when switching between products.
• Experience working with grinders or similar processing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain consistent product quality and packaging standards.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Capability to work efficiently in a high-volume production environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience operating grinding and sealing machines, particularly for coffee or similar products, is a significant plus and may support higher pay rates.
• Previous experience in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
• Comfort working with production schedules and meeting output goals.

This is a permanent position based out of Fort Worth, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $61568.00 - $73881.60/yr. Health, dental, vision, 401k. Steel toe voucher, prescription safety classes if needed
