Petroleum Technician

Petroleum Technician The Petroleum Technician will need to have knowledge of underground/aboveground petroleum equipment installations, upgrades, repairs, closures and general environmental construction, concrete, excavation, etc. This position is field-based and requires travel to project sites throughout Maryland and surrounding regions. Responsibilities Prepare construction sites by organizing materials, tools, and equipment for daily operations Complete assigned construction tasks efficiently while following instructions and project requirements Assist foremen, supervisors, and crew members with various job site activities as needed Follow all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored Job Requirements Required Skills & Experience 2+ years of experience in field construction, mechanical installation, or related field of work Experience in the pump and tank, and/or petroleum industries Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4pm Comfortable with local travel Preferred Skills & Experience OSHA 10 or OSHA HAZWOPER certifications are preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
