Certified Veterinary Technician

The Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center (WVRC)in Racine, WI is hiring a per diem  Certified Veterinary Technician!

Schedule and Compensation:
1st, 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities available
$25/hour or higher, depending on experience
Shift differential for applicable shifts; $3/hr for the hours of 4pm-12am, $5/hr for the hours of 12am - 8am

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience working in a Veterinary Hospital setting is required.
• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) is required.
• Emergency or Specialty experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community is required
• Maintain a positive outlook and ability to contribute in a collaborative environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected
• Strong Technical skills including phlebotomy, medication calculations, and radiology positioning.
