Production Associate

Join a fast-paced commercial bakery as a Production Associate. This entry-level manufacturing role supports production operations by operating equipment, handling materials, and maintaining food safety and quality standards. Candidates should be comfortable performing physically demanding work in a hot, fast-paced production environment.

Job Description

• Operate or assist with production equipment, including mixers, ovens, pan setters, trayers, and other bakery machinery.
• Load, unload, stack, and move baking pans, ingredients, and production materials.
• Load and unload ovens and proof boxes.
• Measure ingredients and follow written work instructions and production procedures.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and SQF standards.
• Report food safety or quality concerns immediately.
• Assist in production or packaging areas as needed.
• Support additional production duties assigned by supervisors.
• Work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Required Skills

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred; food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
• Comfortable working around industrial food production equipment.
• Ability to accurately measure ingredients and follow written instructions.
• Able to work in a loud, hot manufacturing environment.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced production setting with changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, rotating schedules, and up to six days per week as needed.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
