Help Desk Analyst (Annapolis Junction, MD) Active TS/SCI with Polygraph REQUIRED. Please do not apply if you do not currently possess this level of clearance. Telework: None Basic Requirements At least three (3) years of demonstrated experience in and knowledge of SIGINT development analytic support. Within the last five (5) years, at least three (3) of the years of experience must have been with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching system networks, and/or internet communications. Job Description Come join a dynamic, fast‑paced watch center supporting 24x7 operations. In this mission‑essential help desk role, you will maintain the customer’s computers and networks, ensuring front‑end systems continue to collect, process and transmit information vital to national decision makers and keeping our troops safe. Provide support to optimize and maintain assigned customer accesses. The technology focus will be data and voice communications, including DNR (voice/FAX), DNI and other advanced technologies over IP. The candidate must be available to support a 24x7 mission operation with a weekly schedule, working either Day Shift (0545-1345), Swing Shift (1345-2145), or Mid Shift (2145-0545) to include weekends and holidays. Required Experience Demonstrated experience using the Linux operating system, including use of the command‑line. Front‑end collection systems, including survey systems. DNR/DNI collection and dataflow, including FOP configuration. Basic troubleshooting experience. Ability to follow basic SOPs and update documentation accordingly. Desired Experience Basic Communications Signals Collection and Processing Course (450). Intermediate Communications Signals Analysis Course (451). Scripting experience (Bash, Shell and/or Python). Familiarity with Apache NiFi. Familiarity with commercial SATCOM technologies. Basic knowledge of network protocols.
