Adult Education Testing Proctor

Schedule: 1:30 p.m. 9:00 p.m. Monday Thursday Duration: School Year

Qualifications:

• Advanced computer proficiency.
• Proven expertise in Excel and various related software applications.
• Ability to follow procedures accurately and completely.
• Ability to exercise tact and discretion in relationships with students and staff.
• Ability to make decisions and problem solve.
• Ability to work with frequent interruptions.
• Desire to work with non-English speaking adult students and other adult learners.
• Skilled in planning, prioritizing, managing, controlling, and executing tasks efficiently and on time.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and proctor CASAS tests to new and current adult education students.
• Determine appropriate individualized assessments for students, score and analyze student testing and assessments.
• Analyze and evaluate formative and summative student achievement data in accordance with State of Michigan Educational Functioning Levels.
• Responsible for maintaining student testing data and tracking student hours as required for assessments.
• Registration of new students.
• Data entry of student information/data into local and state systems.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate student records and information.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director.
