Allied Technician - Respiratory Therapist

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Pediatrics/NICUThis position involves providing respiratory care in a Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with a focus on pediatric and cardiac patients. The ideal candidate will have experience working with neonates, infants, and children, demonstrating a strong foundation in respiratory therapy practices.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister respiratory therapy treatments and interventions for pediatric and neonatal patients.Monitor and evaluate patients' respiratory needs and responses to treatment.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize care for patients in the NICU.Utilize Epic for patient charting and documentation.Shift InformationPosition requires working 3 shifts of 12 hours each, during night hours from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with a holiday rotation and every other weekend requirement.QualificationsRequired Experience: Minimum of 2 years in pediatric, neonatal, and infant care.Certifications Required: RRT CertificationBLS (Basic Life Support)PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)Licenses: Valid RRT SC license is required at the time of assignment.Preferred: Experience with Epic electronic health records.Additional InformationOpen to accommodating block schedules, subject to approval prior to assignment.Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.The facility reserves the right to call off one shift every two weeks.Scrub color is Caribbean Blue.Client Details State SC
