Job Description

Yardstick is a boutique, suites-only dog hotel defining dog hospitality through personalized care, elevated service, and a calmer, more thoughtful experience for dogs and their people. We’re hiring Overnight Dog Hosts to oversee our facility during overnight hours and ensure a safe, clean, and quiet environment while our dogs sleep.

This role is a great fit for night owls, students, freelancers, or anyone looking for supplemental income in a calm, low-traffic work environment.

What You’ll Do

Oversee the facility overnight while dogs are asleep
Monitor for unusual behavior and respond when needed
Complete cleaning and upkeep tasks to maintain high facility standards
Document and communicate any overnight activity to the morning team
Help ensure every day starts with a safe, clean, well-prepared environment

What We’re Looking For

High integrity, dependable, and trustworthy
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Comfortable working around dogs of all sizes and temperaments
Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility
Available for overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays (we’re open 365 days a year)
Reliable transportation
Prior pet care experience is a plus, but not required

Role Details

Location: Nashville, TN
Type: Full-time or Part-time
Shift: 7:30pm – 6:30am (11-hour shift)
