Server Position 

Job Summary:

Begin a rewarding journey as a key member of our team at  Haus of Brunch  in the role of Server. As a Server, you play a pivotal role in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests by providing attentive service and promoting a positive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Engagement and Welcome:

• Welcome and greet guests, making them feel comfortable and ensuring they know you are personally there to take care of them.

Menu Knowledge and Recommendations:

• Inform guests of specials and menu changes, making genuine recommendations that align with their preferences.

Product Knowledge:

• Possess in-depth knowledge of all ingredients, cooking preparations, and portion sizes for items on the current menus.

Order Processing and Collaboration:

• Take food and beverage orders with precision and enter them into the point-of-sale system. Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen and bar staff for efficient service.

Timely Delivery and Service:

• Ensure prompt delivery of food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests, contributing to an exceptional dining experience.

Customer Satisfaction:

• Monitor and observe guests' dining experiences, promptly responding to requests and ensuring satisfaction with both the food and service.

  Upselling and Promotion:

• Upsell additional items and promote special promotions to enhance the overall guest experience.

  Payment Processing:

• Prepare final bills, present checks to guests, accept payments, and process credit card charges or make changes with 100% accuracy.

Team Collaboration:

• Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers and bussers as situations arise, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Service Area Maintenance:

• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment. Maintain clean service areas to uphold hygiene standards.

Guest Farewell :

• Thank guests for their visit and extend an invitation for them to return, leaving a positive and lasting impression.

  Flexibility and Team Support:

• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant, following directives from the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Must be familiar with OpenTable
• Strong communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and efficiency.
