Description

This position will fill our evening shifts covering The Urgency Room in Eagan. Hours will be 2:30p-10:00p during the week and every other weekend 7:30a-10:30p.

Week 1: Monday pm, Tuesday pm, Saturday

Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday pm, Thursday pm, Friday pm

Week 3: Monday pm, Tuesday pm, Saturday

Week 4: Sunday, Wednesday pm, Thursday pm, Friday pm

Midwest Radiology is also offering a one-time bonus of $5,000 to be earned and paid upon successful completion of one year of employment.

Qualifications

RT (R) (CT) required within one year of employment 3-6 months general x-ray experience preferred. 6-12 months CT experience preferred. IV and power contrast injector experience preferred. CPR certification required. Knowledge of basic radiologic principles, procedures, methods and techniques required. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology required. Excellent patient care, problem solving, organizational, communication and technical skills required. Ability to work independently, in a team, and with all levels of the organization required. Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative required. Demonstrate knowledge of safety-related work behaviors to ensure a safe work environment. Competent in using a computer keyboard, email, Imagecast and PACS or similar applications.

Daily Physical Demands Required For Performing Essential Functions Of The Job: Requires a moderate amount of sitting, standing, walking, reaching, gripping, twisting, turning and repetitive motion; some bending, kneeling, squatting, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, telephone and other office equipment. Ability to assist patients to walk, sit, stand and move to and from the exam table, wheelchair and/or Hoyer lift.

Environmental/Working Conditions: High-potential exposure to communicable diseases, blood products, bodily fluids and/or hazardous materials common to a radiology setting. High-potential exposure to ionizing radiation exams rooms and/or involved in the use of ionizing radiation common to a radiology setting.
