Product Owner Credit & Data Platforms (New York)

About the Team CreditSights is searching for a Product Owner who will play a crucial role in the development and success of our product offerings. The role involves working closely with the Product Manager and cross‑functional teams to drive the product lifecycle from ideation to launch. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of product management principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. How You’ll Make an Impact Assist in developing and executing the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams for successful product delivery. Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to reflect current business priorities. Develop detailed user stories and establish acceptance criteria. Run Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that stories meet acceptance criteria. Engage with customers to discuss features, usability, time to value, and overall user journey. Prototype features, conduct A/B testing, and validate designs with end users. Resolve issues with current features and propose solutions based on customer feedback. Track and analyze product performance metrics, including team productivity, product adoption, and feature performance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in product management, product development, or a related role. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello), basic understanding of software development, and workflow with APIs. Experience with AI technologies is a plus. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; data‑driven decision making (e.g., familiarity with performance metrics like DORA). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment. Customer‑centric mindset with a passion for addressing customer needs. Experience in the financial information services industry, UX/UI principles, design thinking, and remote team collaboration is preferred. What Would Make You Stand Out Experience in financial information services industry, familiarity with UX/UI principles, design thinking, and APIs (RESTful services). MBA is a plus. Compensation and Benefits For the New York location, expected base pay ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 per year. Compensation may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long‑term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
