Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Medical-Surgical Stroke Stepdown – New York

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: New York

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts. Floating to other units as needed.

• 64-bed Medical-Surgical Stroke Stepdown unit specializing in stroke care and complex medical conditions
• Diverse case mix including stroke, altered mental status, renal/dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation patients, and general medical-surgical conditions
• Work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
• EPIC EMR system experience preferred
• Adult patient population with opportunities to develop critical thinking and assessment skills
• Navy blue scrubs provided

• Active New York RN license required
• Minimum 2+ years of Medical-Surgical experience with stroke stepdown background
• Documented travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (may be obtained prior to start date)
• EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Time off requests must be submitted at time of application
