Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with a construction company located in Pawtucket, RI seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their team.

About the Company:

• Founded over 65 years ago, they have expanded their footprint to encompass RI, CT, and MA
• They service companies in varied industries including biotech, healthcare, manufacturing, and hospitality
• This position works with the accounting group but also is front-facing, allowing interaction with all departments

Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant:

• Process accounts payable invoices
• Forward information to proper parties for AP approval
• Act as receptionist including answering incoming calls, sorting mail, and assisting visitors
• Ensure availability of office supplies and ordering items when necessary
• Create ad hoc reports for construction staff

Background Expected of the Accounting Assistant:

• 1+ year(s) of experience in an office environment
• Associate degree in accounting or business is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products

Hourly rate, depending on experience: $21-26/hr
